The winger Was presented with the team's best chance before halftime, his shot smartly stopped from Thomas Strakosha. As a teammate holding position, it fell to him to offer an outlet out wide yet his deliveries from the touchline were inconsistent. Replaced for the final quarter-hour. Six

The captain The difference-maker with his two more finishes at international level. His first a classic opportunist's goal and his next a classy header having drifted away away from the opposition. Aged 32, his form is unwavering and England have every chance in future competitions when he's in the team. 8/10

The attacker Had difficulty to make an impact from the left. Was presented with a presentable chance when set up by Bellingham yet the keeper kept it out. His replacement had a greater influence after coming on. Five
